The musical project of "L-VIS like ELVIS Show!" is a result of years of my passion for music and singing.

It all began when I went with my parents for a diplomatic mission to Tanzania (at that time I was 3 years old).  That is where - during our 5-year stay - an African baby sitter often took care of me.  It is thanks to her, that I learned the rhythms and music of the local inhabitants.  Apparently I liked this music as a child, since we danced and sang together more and more often.

After Africa, we changed climates, although that wasn't the only change.  After a couple of years I settled down in Oslo, in Norway.  That is where, when I was 10 years old, I read an article about Elvis Presley.  I remember it very well.  It was the year 1977, the year of the death of the King of rock'n'roll.  Up to now I just don't know how it happened, but very quickly I got interested in his character and his work.  Soon, as a gift, I got my first tape with movie hits in which he starred, including the famous "Return to sender".

In the Norwegian primary school, for one of the musical lessons I brought with me the lyrics of "Jailhouse Rock" and "Return to Sender", songs which I earlier carefully - after uncountable efforts of listening to the texts - wrote down with my father.  I started to buy posters and souvenirs.  I had the feeling that Elvis was becoming my idol... When I got back to Poland, I started studies at the Warsaw University, but music was still a part of my life at that time.  I would listen to different songs and different performers.  I sang and danced more often.
